This was a fun fabric to work with! I made one for a big sister and a little sister using the same pattern. Unfortunately, I thought the pattern was the Summer Picnic Dress from the Cottage Mama- and it isn't. The bodice is entirely different. I have used that pattern, however, and it is great too.

Part 2 of our triple soap batch.

Soap day! This time we did a triple batch. This first portion includes our standard coconut milk recipe- that large hunk in the back. Also, we did a portion with some cinnamon. It smells so yummy! Like a bar of sweet baked treats!

Oliver + S Teaparty Sundress. I'm working on a few in the next size up. Size 3.

Baby sweater made with super fuzzy baby yarn. Love this pattern. Last time, I made it in blue. What a difference the yarn change makes. Still needs buttons down the side.

Tribute Baby sweater, found in Feb 2014 issue of Piecework magazine.This was a lovely knit and I'm pleased with how the wavy cotton yarn gave it a delicate look. Pink on purpose- a gift.

These may be the last 2 divided baskets for a while. The top one is actually for me! I've already loaded it up with some cutting and tracing projects & supplies that I can tackle while kiddos play at the park. 

Another Kwik Sew 3776 bubble romper.

Eleven dino diapers, size small. Very Baby pattern. These are pocket diapers. Sadly, I ran out of size tags for size small. I am eager to finish this project, so I didn't want to wait to order them. Also, ordering size tags from etsy.com can cost more than twice as much as waiting for co-op pricing. So, I made my own! I didn't get a pic of them, but I just stitched a letter 's' onto some star printed ribbon. I figure that even if the 's' is sloppy or illegible, I'll remember that star starts with s for small. I'm really proud of finishing these with a bit of brain power.

These scraps pieced together nicely for this tote. It was left from the diaper bag I made in the last pregnancy. I love how the colors look so great with the plain mint green. Last time, I used some funky polka dots and it was a totally different look. Noodlehead divided basket pattern.

Sea turtle fun! I loved using this fun boyish fabric with the orange gingham. One of these will be a gift and one will stay at our house. Again, the Noodlehead divided basket pattern.

A dear friend shared this adorable green farm fabric. I was able to match the topsitching around the top edge with some stars like in the fabric print. Again, the noodlehead divided basket pattern.

Two more Noodlehead divided baskets. The kids convinced me that they each needed one. One of these is for our house and one possibly for a gift.

Onto the size smalls. We use sizes newborn, small, and medium. Sometimes large. These are a dozen Very Baby pockets/covers size small. They have an inner wicking jersey. They are almost neutral enough for a boy too.

Kwik Sew 3776. 

We love this bubble suit! I made several that she hasn't worn yet, like this one. Although, it is on the small side and probably won't fit after washing. Luckily, I've already started sewing 4 more in the next size up. This outfit works great for everyday. No separate bloomers needed and can be made from soft cottons that are cool on hot days.

The dark blue pocket and handles are actually more purple. One of these is fully loaded with disposables and wipes. Not as great as real diapers, but now they look a little better in this basket.

Smalls are done! Nineteen small pocket diapers. 5 pink, 2 green, and 12 farm print. Very Baby pattern. I am nearly out of diaper fabric. On to the mediums...

A couple more Noodle-Head divided totes. That dolly is standing up in one to help show size. I realized halfway through, that white muslin would have been a better choice for lining than the cream canvas.

Who can make just one? Here is the Noodle-Head divided fabric basket again. This one is made using quilting cotton. Much thinner, but easy to sew. These 2 were made from 2 yards total of contrasting fabrics. The first picture shows one fully loaded with 16 diaper covers and 16 inserts. Ready to go!

A quick shot of the basket holding about a dozen newborn covers on the right. On the left side, I would put the inserts. The pockets would hold a changing mat, an extra onesie, socks, and wipes.

Divided Basket PDF pattern from noodlehead. I've been looking at 2 of her patterns for a while now, so I finally decided to go with this one. I will say, there are a ton of fabric basket patterns free, but I couldn't find one with this divider. If you are not pregnant and hormonal, you may want to wing the divider on your own without shelling out the $6.50. I made the front pocket too. It seemed larger in the pictures but really, you don't want this thing loaded up crazy heavy. I figure it will fit a days worth of diapers so I can keep it in the living room for easy changes.

About 33. Very Baby Newborn pocket diapers. These are for us. Last time we used dark green and kelly green. This time lime! I don't think I'll be as spunky this time and whip up a whole set of pink and girly in 2 days; if it happens to be a girl.

A dozen or so newborn Very Baby diapers. These are pockets or covers. Made for a friend who ended up not needing them. I've been giving the rest away a few at a time.

Baby hat. Why use those thin cotton hospital hats, when you can knit tiny hats with thin yarn on tiny needles? This one actually took longer than I thought because of the tiny needles and thin yarn. But it is so pretty and soft.

The pattern designer's photos captured the pattern in this bonnet better than I can. Pattern name: Crooked Little Baby Bonnet. I used a dk weight yarn and it came out pretty large. If desire and time come my way, I'll make another in thinner yarn with smaller needles.

Botanical Cowl is the name of the pattern. I used some lovely sock yarn and repeated the pattern one extra time so I wouldn't have any leftovers.It really needs blocking so you can see the eyelets and patterning, but it is unlikely that I'll ever wear or use this so it may take a long time to block.

Leftovers can be great! This dress was made from scraps leftover from that baby shower gift I did not long ago. I didn't get a shot of the back, but the fabrics are patched and pieced all around to have just enough for this cutie to have a new dress. Size 24 months of the O+S Teaparty Sundress Pattern.

Another pair of Vanilla Latte Pattern socks. This pair was made using beautiful hand-dyed sock yarn from my favorite line of "A Fling With String". It also helps that the proprietor is a dear friend of mine and the yarn was a gift. I have plenty left over for something baby-sized...

I LOVE Love Fixation elastic yarn for baby socks. These are the only ones I've ever found to actually stay on a baby's feet. Terrible lighting, but they are a subtle variegated pink. I'll weave my ends later.
