Here is block 2 along with the first. I'll keep re-showing block one to keep the context. Applique is new to me and I'm building confidence with the technique.
You are blessed...when you're at the end of your rope.

I've been looking at this amazing idea for making 100 inches of bias tape with one 10" square. I didn't think I could do it, so I put it off. Then, I realized I actually needed bias binding for this circular applique mat. It was so much fun! It really worked!

I am fairly new to applique. All of these shapes are done with Bunny Hill Designs line of Mistletoe Lane fabrics. I was about to throw this magazine out when I saw this design and thought I`d give it a try. These are all fused down now, but I`m a bit stuck on how to sew them down. I tried hand stitching but don`t care for the look of it. I gave away my fancy Pfaff that had the perfect stitch for this project, so now I`ll have to get creative to finish it.
