Designer Val Laird has this wonderful block of the month. "Keys to Contentment" Hopefully the link in the sidebar works if you'd like to try it too.

Gail Pan's rework garden. I enjoyed stitching this so I didn't want to wait for all 12 to be done before I post. I'll be trying to do one a month.

I'm happy to be participating in this beautiful and organized block of the month from one of my favorite designers! I've got all of the plain squares cut and ready. I added a title block for my finished wall hanging since I don't have the same border print she suggested.

I'm running a little behind. WildOlive is having a United States stitch along. We are at the halfway point and should have 25 of fifty states stitched. I'm not very good at quilting so I modified the project to be a wall hanging. I also am challenged by cutting straight lines so my patches are circles. I'll be finishing off each one with dryer sheet applique. Please don't be critical about my New England states. This is my second try and I know I'll have to try them again.
