Super quick! I learned a lot about not using a pattern for this one. Not exactly the flared A-line I was hoping for, but she likes it. The top waistband is brown, which matches part of the print. The bottom is a bit more flared than it appears. I think I am going to stick with shorter skirts for a while, at least until I can take the time to come up with a 'pattern'. Not too bad for 20 minutes from start to finish.

These may look simply like 9" squares sewn and topstitched. But really- they are 25 lovely napkins! The exciting part is if you've ever eaten at our house, and you know what we are replacing. Years ago I thought to make some cloth napkins but instead I bought a huge pack of washcloths from K-mart. Those things are old and tattered, and welcome retirement. Now our table has a beautiful addition.

An 'unfinished' project finally complete. I started this many months ago and left it in the drawer. What a good feeling to get it done while it still fits.

This is the third batch of homemade ice cream. First was banana- not too good. Second was strawberry- delicious and fresh tasting. Third was blueberry- so good that by the time I took a picture, it was gone. So beautiful and purple and tasty!

To this tote, I sewed on some fun woven ribbon, lace, patches, and sparklie paint. At the top, you can see the funky curly hair clip I also made. This was a fun gift to make! The hair clip took a lot of time, effort, and I broke a needle.

A couple of bunny friends. I've decided to omit faces due to a creativity block. I've also decided to eat candy in small containers. I like to stuff the heads with a small rattle and those little candy containers seem to be a better option so far.

Oh yeah! Socks for me! These feel sooo good on! Now I know what the appeal is to knitted socks. These are made with Esprit yarn- elastic and cotton. The yarn is so stretchy that I followed the measurements for a child's size and they fit perfect!
