We just recently read some books about ATC's. Here are Abigail's first attempts. She used watercolor crayons from Hobby Lobby. They are in baseball card sleeves. Thanks Joann!Thursday, July 29, 2010

I love the fit of this onesie! I've already cut out 2 more. Perfection would be if the legs were slightly longer, but I'm no pattern drafter. Do notice that the lapped sleeve is backwards- facing to the back instead of front. Hopefully I won't do that again. Only 3 pattern pieces and easier to make than I thought. It is a must to clip notches to line everything up. Here's the pattern: http://childrensfashionworkshop.squarespace.com/rts-patterns/Saturday, July 24, 2010

So, I even tried to show you a close up of the great, super, soft, fuzzy, colorful, yarn.A baby sized blanket. My first-kinda. I actually knitted this same yarn into a completed blanket four times. Really. This is the fourth. I am finally happy with how it turned out! It was intended as a gift for a friend (this time), but she just found out it is a boy. I'll have to think of something else wonderful...
