Katherine stitched this lovely kitchen towel. I think kitchen towels are quite fun since they are useful too. I like that they get used often and rotate quickly through our kitchen, one is always a little piece of art on display.

A dear friend gifted me with many lovely variegated perle cotton threads. This was my first time working with perle cotton, and I love it! I can see why it is a bit pricier. I stitched the heart to a plain piece of fabric. Then, cut it into a circle. Then, sewed the circle to an old dryer sheet. Explaining this would work better if I had pictures of the process. Anyhow, the circle patch is handstitched to a purchased cotton drawstring bag.

These are the last two for a total of four Wildolive stitching pouches. This ticking fabric was given to me by a friend. It was the leftovers from me making her 2 new removable laundry hamper liners. I lined all of the pouches with a pale blue and white sheet and one layer of 809 interfacing. This is the sort of useful, fast, easy project that I could easily make a couple dozen of. But this time I won`t.
