In sunny Florida, I don't usually have to worry about my teapot cooling off too fast. However, in our special 2 weeks of winter, I was faced with this new dilemma. Crate and Barrel sells a lovely little stand for your teapot that holds a tealight and will keep it warm all day. I'm a bit more DIY than that. I happened to have the exact yarn needed for this lovely, easy cozy sweater pattern. My pot is a bit larger than the pattern, so I added 7 stitches around, and increased a few, and added some moss rows to the top and bottom. If I encounter another cold teapot, I'll definitely use this pattern again.
