This is a quick post of progress on a project. I don't usually post "in progress", but I was having a hard time attaching this to an email. When it is finished, I'll replace this with the completed one. Gorgeous Noro yarn.

Unfortunately, not a great picture for all the work I put into it. There are many different kinds of stitches here. I really like to take the time for outline embroidery.

9 more diapers, these have velour insides-very soft.

An ice cream cone and stitch markers. I think this cone looks better than the last, but not as good as the second.

Goodness Gracious Diaper pattern modified to use snaps. More beautiful pocket diaper fabric!

Very Baby Diaper pattern, modified to use snaps, powerdry inside. Beautiful fabric! This is my preferred topstitched diaper.

Blues and greens. Almost finished with the mane. He is part of the horse themed gift for a friend's birthday. We are trying to aviod the plastic toys from China.

Sponge painting with a stencil. The girls chose to use blue and green paint to go with the yarn colors they picked for the knitted horse.

For a friend's birthday, we made him gifts with the horse theme. These are soaps. The girls decided that they would make themselves a hippo soap. A fun easy quick and clean project!

Long ago, when Abigail was just learning about her first Thanksgiving, I made her this kid-sized 'helper' apron. She also enjoys using it in her play kitchen. I may have to make one up quick this year for Roo. Maybe she won't notice?

Crochet sorbet in a cone. It would have worked out better if I had used a pattern-ever. I can't remember how I did the others.

Baby Bear needed a sling. She chose the fabric. I love whipping up these fun projects! I already had the rings from long ago when I made Abigail's- they were a pack of 4. It took me maybe 20 minutes total.

Poor lighting but the velcro tab covers itself when not in use. This should help with those laundry diaper snakes.

Some of the felt food that I've finished. This stuff is so easy. If you can't tell, there's bread, fish, cheese, lettuce, grean bean, chicken leg, ravioli, bacon, mushrooms, mashed potatoes with gravy, tomato slice. There are more to come- I cut out a bunch at once but have been finishing slowly.

Not a soaker! Shorts. Can you see the pattern? Hopefully. The leaf lace pattern is just great. There is also a 'pouch' for the diaper butt. I really liked making these! I will make more- maybe pants. Yarn dyed by me. Pattern written by adorabubbleknits.

!!!! A "soft-structured carrier" I just loved the Beco and Ergo I have borrowed from friends! I decided to try making my own. I am so pleased with the results. This is the first- still have not put the buckles on, but I am so excited! After making this, I struggled a bit- it is really worth the $125 to buy one if you can.

The scissors are for size comparison. These diapers are so itty-bitty! (newborn size) They are for a baby, but Abigail really wants to try them on her doll. The new way of doing the velcro/aplix so that the tabs don't snag in the wash- I'll show a pic of that another time.

Memory match!! My favorite way to use up those little scraps. This is the second set I've made. 2 layers of plain cotton, 1 layer fleece in the middle, and the print. So fast and easy. I actually used the dusty rotary cutter for the fleece. The plain, I just ripped. The print I used scissors. Everyone should make these!

Yep, you guessed it. Believe it or not, these are starting to slow down a bit. (maybe) Hand dyed by me- purple is very pale.

Hard to tell, but these people now have clothes! They are so pleased. They are also hugging the babies- once they were dressed it was hard for them to stop playing.
