I used a Clover bias tape maker. Much easier than I thought. Altgough, I did cheat a bit on the 'bias' part. I also burned the board with the iron- that little thing heats up fast. Maybe after the holidays I'll add an ironing board cover to my 'to make' list.

The before and after. Our dining chairs are gross- they once were white. Who knew it could be so fast and easy! I used a screw driver, scissors, and a stapler. Took me 6 minutes per chair.

27 fleece tie blankets. I didn't tie them, just cut.

I thought keeping a journal would be a good resolution for the new year. I'm not a writer, but a quick sentence about what I'd like to remember from the day, what I am thankful for, and what I've created. Also, a running list of what I'd like to create. Seems simple, but I failed to write in it yesterday. The first day.

Some scraps of batik cut in the Sizzix variable heart shapes then decoupage glued onto a composition book. I would have bought a new pretty journal, but, have you ever tried to do that with a bunch of kids?

Something totally new for me. A guitar strap. I tried to get the photo of the print; it is subtle music notes on black. Also, a picture of it in use. I was really pleased with how this turned out, and even more pleased that the guitar that came over for Christmas did not already have one.

Hard to tell, but this is a 'poopy pouch'. It clips to your dog leash and holds regular grocery bags. A gift for a dog owner.

Those cutie bunny tags I put on all the girly panites were not super expensive, (about a nickel each), but I found a blog that described how to make your own printed tags. Here is where I used all the twill tape I had, with rubber stamps, and a special iron-set ink.

Revamping this thrift store lamp was so easy. I found a sticky lampshade at the craft store and used my latest-most-favorite fabirc. This one is on my sewing table so I get to look at it all the time!

Zippy bags. These are fun, useful and easy to make.

A few waterproof zippy bags. These are so quick and easy, and I still put off making them. Not sure why...

"sock" Not actually a sock, but a pack full of rice to keep in the freezer or heat in the microwave. I've only made rectangles before, stars are fun!
