Not beautiful, but necessary. This waterproof bag will line our diaper pail. The fabric is ironic, and ugly. It was a gift.

Gingham Diapers

I really love gingham diapers! 2 pink and 5 blue. I like the blue ones better. We truly have plenty of diapers for this kid, but when I saw this fabric I couldn't resist.

I had super customer service from Diaper Sewing Supplies. I added onto my order just as they were packing it up and were happy to help. By the way, if you are thinking of ordering, they offer a 'free gift'. I don't suggest the scrap of pul choice. It really was a scrap and useless.

Eight more medium CT diapers. I still have a few cut out, but ran out of materials and time is running short too!

A mini diaper rainbow. There are 12 medium ChloeToes pocket diapers with suedecloth inner.

I figured it was a good idea to get started on some medium diapers before we need them. I've cut out 30 in various colors. Here are the first 6. Red, pink, khaki green, purple, blue, and rainbow stripes. When my lighting issues get figured out, these will look much better.

TWH pattern covers, made in size large from sandwich pul. These are from my 'unfinished bin'. Sadly, I know we won't use these and probably no one else will either. They just aren't the style I prefer. 

Eleven dino diapers, size small. Very Baby pattern. These are pocket diapers. Sadly, I ran out of size tags for size small. I am eager to finish this project, so I didn't want to wait to order them. Also, ordering size tags from etsy.com can cost more than twice as much as waiting for co-op pricing. So, I made my own! I didn't get a pic of them, but I just stitched a letter 's' onto some star printed ribbon. I figure that even if the 's' is sloppy or illegible, I'll remember that star starts with s for small. I'm really proud of finishing these with a bit of brain power.

Onto the size smalls. We use sizes newborn, small, and medium. Sometimes large. These are a dozen Very Baby pockets/covers size small. They have an inner wicking jersey. They are almost neutral enough for a boy too.

Smalls are done! Nineteen small pocket diapers. 5 pink, 2 green, and 12 farm print. Very Baby pattern. I am nearly out of diaper fabric. On to the mediums...

About 33. Very Baby Newborn pocket diapers. These are for us. Last time we used dark green and kelly green. This time lime! I don't think I'll be as spunky this time and whip up a whole set of pink and girly in 2 days; if it happens to be a girl.

A dozen or so newborn Very Baby diapers. These are pockets or covers. Made for a friend who ended up not needing them. I've been giving the rest away a few at a time.

Eight new medium ChloeToes pattern diapers. This time I used better quality fabric, so I won't have that 'fall apart' problem again.

I have a weakness for pink with white polka dots. Especially in diaper fabric. I know she had plenty of cute girly diapers, but when I saw this fabric I had to whip up twenty more. 8 of them are in the next size up.

Here are ten size small diapers. She's already grown out of the newborn size, but hopefully these will last several months. I had to make pink, since all the others are blues and greens. The insides are all lime or spring green cuddle dry microfleece. I couldn't wait another week for the pink to arrive.

Newborn sized diaper. Very Baby AIO pattern. Joann's pul outer, Wazoodle elastic, bamboo velour inner. I also made the changing mat she is on from what was left of a batik I love.

Yay! The smalls are done. 2 dozen. These are all in velcro, the mediums will use snaps instead.

Large diaper. These little hedgehogs are so cute!

As I was building momentum on the tiny diapers, we suddenly needed a few large ones. Here are four of six larges. Hopefully, these will bring us right to potty training soon.

Newborn stash. These are all pocket diapers from the Very Baby pattern. There are 25 which I'm happy with, except for the fact that I put the velcro on backwards. Lucky I just give them away when I'm done with them. These will be used with premie sized prefolds of which I have just a dozen.
