This soaker is made from some very soft roving-type wool. The pinks are great in person.

It's been a while...this soaker is made from a brown tweedy yarn from knitpicks. It has a variegated strand running through the yarn. Much prettier in person, and more boyish that what we have already knitted up here. Can you believe he was down to only one fitting soaker!? As if I've not made enough of them!Side note: Have you tried the coconut M&M's? I'm not usually a fan of m's in general, but those coconut ones are amazing!!

Another infant soaker sack. This is a yarn dyed by me long ago. It is very obvious where I changed needle brands towards the bottom. I really like those Addi Turbos! I just don't have any of my own. Thank you to a very kind Marilyn for letting me borrow hers for a hat project! I may finish the hat and try to squeeze in one more of these sacks before I return them.Saturday, January 24, 2009

A couple of soakers. I made the smaller one for a baby that was soon to be born. When he was born, he was almost 11 pounds! I had to make the second since the first wouldn't likely fit. (By the way: The baby was born to a mom I know, totally natural, no drugs, no repairs, out-of-hospital, and totally healthy)
