I am having a hard time getting a good picture of this. Maybe I'll try again tonight. These crochet necklaces turn out really great, fun, fast, pretty.

A very colorful crochet necklace made from Trellis. It looks great in person with the vibrant colors. Thanks to a friend for teaching me how to make it.

Medallion, mostly knit, and partly crochet. The photographer error really takes away from how pretty this is. I think I will possibly make more with reds/greens for Christmas ornaments. (if I remember by then)

Oddly, I'm finding more uses for these.

Crochet circles are not my friend. I always end up with a dome/cone. Until now- this is just a preview of a nearly finished project that needed an actual flat circle.

Crochet beaded necklace. I've made several of these, but they are hard to photograph. So fun to make and look great. (thanks neck model)

I found a neat book on knitting with wire. At the same time, our knitting group planned for February to be wire month! Yahoo for me! This is a beautiful necklace. It is actually crochet, but I can live with it. I have made 1 1/2 more but I need to add clasps to all of them and learn how to photograph them better.

Remember that hairpin lace loom? Well, here it is! Several yards of hairpin lace worked up so quickly! I really like the monthly knit nite themes. Some of the ladies are using this as trim on shawls and bags. One even had whole afghans made from this stuff. I have no idea what to do with mine. (yet)

I may not look like much- hairpin lace anyone? On an adjustable loom? Can't wait to try this out. Why pay retail when you can drill into flexible high-temp. glue sticks and make your own? (Note: as you are drilling, the glue begins to melt and fly around the room, when it hits you it is still hot-and fast)

An ice cream cone and stitch markers. I think this cone looks better than the last, but not as good as the second.

Crochet sorbet in a cone. It would have worked out better if I had used a pattern-ever. I can't remember how I did the others.

Strawberry ice cream cone. I keep making these because no matter what I try to crochet- it all turns out like a bulb. (even the straight/flat patterns) Nothing left to do but add a cone. I may give up on the crochet for a while and stick to knitting.

Crochet. My first time trying to crochet. It started as a circle, then a bowl, then a ball, then I wasn't sure. Turns out, it's an ice cream cone. If only I had a pattern...or had written it down as I was working. I'm secure in my love for knitting, although someone gave me a pattern for pretty crochet snowflakes so I had to learn how.
