Hmm, this did not seem so blurry last night. I must be sleep deprived. So they asked for red shirts to match daddy's red softball team. These are the red fabrics I had. It will not look so poofy after the fabric softens with washing. The amazing part- the kid is actually wearing shorts!

Another dress finished from the 'too big' pile. Funny thing: They are too big for Katherine, but since Abigail figured they were not for her, she now wears the 3 I've finished.

Just a few diapers and a sleeper. This sleeper was done previously, but I thought it looked more like a laundry accident than a tie-dye. Now it is perfect!
A preview for tomorrow's post.
Although she is not a fan of pants, she did pull out some of Abigail's outgrown clothes and try them on. I made this, along with several others many summers ago. (I am running out of current projects to post- keeping up with household chores and baby/child care is really slowing down my crafting.)
Ok, I didn't officially 'make' this. But it was a gift. I saw an ad in a magazine for a chalkboard that clips to your Learning Tower. It was $60+ship. I thought it was a great idea- especially since our Learning Tower sits between the kitchen and art/learning corner. I used this cheap chalkboard that fit perfectly and 2 clips from Home Depot- less than $1.50 for both very strong clips. Viola! The gift part- The Learning Tower was a much coveted item for many years. A few awesome mamas from our La Leche League group felt that it would make a great gift for the older kids, instead of your average baby gift. Awesome! We have gotten so much use out of it in the past 2 years! So thank you so much Vanessa and Kirsten for organizing it! A gift that keeps giving!
I am amazed at all the beautiful handmade gifts we've gotten! Here are two knit fuzzy blue washcloths and a sweet handstitched bunny. The bunny is not attatched to the cloth, I may add a pin to the back of him so it can be put on the diaper bag or some such. I am torally in love with the bunny! Thank you Lynne!
Can you see the adorable little frogs and ducks? There are snaps at the crotch for easier diaper changes. It is a size about 2T.
I actually made an effort to get a decent picture of this one. I am so impressed with the creativity! What a perfect gift, the sentiment in the card was also lovely, as well as the beautiful coral colored roses. Thank you so much Brie!
Something different! A jumper for a little boy. The chick print is leftover from a dress and hat set I made about 7 yrs ago for Abigail.
This was the last dress in this size to need snaps. I've been distracted and finally finished. Alas, our dress diva won't wear it because the bodice doesn't have the same fabric. Another one to pack away.
Another 'changing pad'. These are fast and easy! I think we have enough now.
A snuggly blanket and 3 embroidered burpies. A sweet handmade gift from my husband's aunt. It was a lovely surprise! Thanks aunt Kay!
My own version of a 'piddle pad'. They are a few layers thick, with fleece backing. We already had a few, but we could use a few more. Great for the bed and changing table.
