Another thank you to Mrs. Neumayer. This fast skirt is made with some pretty floral print perfect for little girls!

This is some neat fabric that I made a carrier out of 2 years ago. Ok, so the carrier still lacks buckles- unfinished. But the bag is complete and totally cute. I resized my recent favorite bag pattern and it now fits a diaper/wipes comfortably. Perfect size as a purse!

Woohoo! A slightly different post. The woman is holding a picture that Katherine colored, and giving her a sling backpack. She won the local healthfood store's coloring contest! Inside the bag was a package of Omegalicious gummy vitamins. We've discussed the difference between candy and vitamins- so subtle, sometimes I can't tell.

A little box for a little mouse. This was not planned. I was commissioned to suddenly make a box. Moments after I was finished, and holes were being punched into the lid so he could breathe, I was already thinking of ways to improve box making. I will really try to do this as I've been thinking of packaging options for C'mas gifts.

The last of the cakes for a while. (not decorated by me)These little cakes make for awesome tea parties!

Katherine is also enjoying the practice.

This is such a happy little cake! We can make 6 tiny cakes at once now- so lots of decorating practice.

Three new diapers. Good timing. He's just grown out of the 4 blue ones. So these will replace them. Still can't manage to get ahead on diapers for some reason. Having to remake all the diapers in a new pattern has given me a new perspective.

Hoping to get a jump on holiday dresses. Went from memory, not such a good idea. There's no twirl. I'll try again another day.

One more quickie little dress. I think that covers all the tiny girls we know right now.

Pina colada gummies. Yummmmmm.

Monday, November 9, 2009

I came across this fabric as a remnant one day. It was just enough for an adorable skirt, just my size, complete with zipper. I made a few skirts at that time. I've since birthed enough children to completely change the size skirt I wear. None of the skirts fit. Gave all the skirts away except this one because I loved the print. Now, it has a new life as a bag. Some day, when I'm not toting diapers anymore, I'll use it.

The last dress from the gift of three. This one is my fave. I am in love with those small vintage flowers with lace! I just love seeing little girls in them.

Another lovely little dress with sweet lace all around!

Closeup of the fabric and lace. The fabric was part of a fabulous gift! Oodles of wonderful vintage flowers! Many thanks Mrs. Neumayer!
Size 12 months. I love the lace trim on each of them. I think she really liked them too! This pattern is so fun and fast! I came home last night and made another one before bed.

The next 3 posts will be gift inspired! This lovely package is going to live with a sweet tiny girl. I'm glad our girls are not so little tiny anymore, but I miss making the little tiny dresses. So much fun with so little fabric.

A very simple sewing machine cover. I measured the machine, took those 2 measurements and cut a rectangle of lining fabric. Then, I patched together my favorite red with some blue that has bitty thread spools all over it. Ribbon ties on each side. It slips on and off easily. Makes the whole corner look more tidy! I love it!

Same idea as the brown bag from a month or so ago. This one I actually quilted with some inside stuff and lots of sewing through it all. So far it is just a flat bound rectangle. It could be a bag by next week.
