These neck coolers are sitting in the fridge, ready for use. I suggest you google 'neck cooler' and you will find out how to make them. I picked up the dry powder stuff that gels in a rather large bag for $8 in the garden center of Kmart. You could probably make about 50 of these with one bag of the stuff. I did not actually follow any specific pattern, but winged it. We've used them twice so far and they actually work well!

This one came from a previous batch, but I'm just now catching a picture of it. Small purple flowers all over, slightly puffed sleeves using foldover elastic. This greenery is not found near us, but at a campground in Ohio.

An awesome book cover. Not made by me, but by an 8 yr old with my help. I am beyond excited to have finally been able to make one of these. I'll post mine another time.

I'm kinda lucky she wanted to put it on. I've been using this fabric for years and have just a small scrap left. I'll be donating it- I can't bear to make one more green ladybug anything.

Here is an after the fall and after the fix. This funky duct tape worked great to hide the glue. I will have to come up with a prettier option when I have more time.

Another process not product photo. There is some serious beading going on. I picked up a super cool multi-pack of glow in the dark beads to add to the fun. I can't tell you how much I love anything that glows in the dark!

CAUTION- Shield your eyes! Protect small children! When I showed this to a critical 8 yr old, she screamed "oh yuck! Get that thing away from me- I don't want my eyes to see it! It is so ugly!"
I thought a new bag to hold my knitting would be fun since I've been able to knit again. I used this pattern because I had some cotton webbing on hand and I was too lazy to make real handles and turn them. The top part to insert the handles works great with webbing! I may add a snap in the center. It also has a couple of pockets inside.

I used to love how these horses turned out. Not so much love for this one. Maybe I'll toss it, or add the mane and tail and see if it improves?

Not really a finished product as much as the process. An improptu stamping session with many artists. Pictures like this remind me why my house is not sparkly clean.

We tried a different bubble making recipe- I've always used glycerine, but our friend hosted this bubble fun using a recipe with cornstarch and something else. But, no glycerine at all. Seemed to make some biggies!

Adding a little love to her room. I used the sizzix machine to cut out hearts from felt. Then, with a straight stitch and a thin ribbon sewed straight across the ribbon while placing the hearts.

So these started as new socks, but now they are a bit worn. I tried crocheting beads to socks a couple of years ago and ended up with nothing. This time, with inspiration from another mom, I did it! Thanks Beth and Pat!

Letters that Abigail cut out from fabric. Then we wet them with liquid starch, squeezed them out, and rubbed them onto the wall. According to all internet sources and our preliminary trials, they stay for a long time then peel off easily with no residue left on the wall.

These six are for us. Hopefully this is enough. With all of our travel lately, we've needed a few more. Also, since he figured out what a fun sound velcro makes when you rip off your diaper, I've had to trade out a few we had with velcro with snaps.

I started this penguin skirt 3 years ago. She is such a patient child! The 'unfinished bin' is really dwindling! Finished in time for the smaller a-line penguin skirt to fit her little sister. Now they match!

2 more bibs. The next time I get excited about a pattern could someone please remind me not to cut out 30?

Back to making diapers. This one is from the unfinished bin.

Some homemade playdough formed into a fun rainbow! Fun rainbow craft day is fun for moms and kids!

Save your apples from bruising in your bag! This knitted fruit cozy is the answer. This is a wonderful bulky cotton yarn, but this would be great in a stretchy sock yarn.
A quilted mat with ribbon ties. We use the rocker every day. For 8 years I've put off doing this. I am almost out of this great orange fabric, but this way I can look at it every day!
