Sorry, can't get this one to rotate. This one is not pleated, but a full circle. I'd like to point out that she has grown a bunch and I used the wrong bodice pattern. Since I didn't realize it until it was cut, I modified by adding a 4" band to the bodice and skirt hem. Using my awesome Pfaff and decorative stitching it turned out great anyway!

My sister and favorite niece came over one afternoon for an unexpected sewing project. They each made a dumpling zippy pouch. So, now, if a six year old, new to sewing can sew a zipper like a pro- so can you!
P.S. Don't tell them that zippers can be tricky. They don't know since I didn't mention it. As a result, they both did beautiful zippers and topstitched them perfectly!

This is a bag that I've made many of. It goes together fast, has only 3 pieces, and uses bias tape decoratively. I like to use plastic canvas in the bottom for slight stability. The bag is also fully reversible. (Except that I like to use a snap instead of a button.)

It is amazing what a newly 3 year old can do! This horsey bracelet is made with all glass beads. Some fish and 2 horse charms. He was having so much fun there was a bit of a fight when there were enough beads and he had to stop. This is for his horse loving friend who had a birthday. Hope she likes it long enough to grow into it. Those extra beads made it a bit large for a six year old sized wrist.

Some more Malabrigo green. I paired it with the rest of the rainbow yarn I'd won a couple of years ago from another blog. It was so pretty and with so little left, I knew it would be perfect here. I actually ran out near the bottom, which is all Dark Horse Yarn yellow. It felted great as a substitution, and the color is fine, especially since the bottom isn't seen. I'm thinking of using the last bit of yellow on another bowl I'm working on. I love how this pattern uses up some great wool and works up quick.

Here are ten size small diapers. She's already grown out of the newborn size, but hopefully these will last several months. I had to make pink, since all the others are blues and greens. The insides are all lime or spring green cuddle dry microfleece. I couldn't wait another week for the pink to arrive.

I made two of these, they sadly fit for such a short time. I found the pattern when she was on the large end of the size. Seriously easy and cute though!

For Christmas, Katherine wanted to make a gift for her cousin. Not just a cute popsicle stick ornament, but a real gift. We have these little wooden tables that our kids use all the time for small projects and eating on while watching football, and playing 'school', etc. She built this, really. She did drilling, sanding, some cutting. I'm very impressed. She also wanted to paint it, but the flu left us with no time.
