The 5 hour vintage baby sweater pattern didn't really take 5 hours. But, that does make it an easy sell for someone who wants a quick project. The bottom, pink yarn, is Galaway bulky. The top, is hand-dyed by my dear friend who has a small yarn dying business "A Fling With String". Beautiful colors!

O+S Tea Party Sundress pattern. This size 18 months is still fitting, but the 2T fits just as well. Big sister has a Seashore Sundress to match, but won't wear it.

The O+S Seashore Sundress. She likes this one because there are small, nearly hidden pockets. I stopped making her dresses for a while because she wasn't wearing half of them. Then she asked for more and told me not to worry about the half she won't wear. "Just think of the half that I DO wear", she says. This girl is lucky she has a little sister that will grow into some new-never-worn dresses someday.

I fell in love with the chevron pattern for a baby blanket in my last pregnancy, but never could make it work. I wrote this one myself with some hints from others who have used this particular yarn before. I don't work with acrylic yarn much, but this was a delight! Knitpicks Bulky Brava. I wish I would have chosen the orange instead of the green, but it was too late by the time it arrived. It seems large, but it is really just draped over the sewing machine- quite small- 3 skeins exactly.
