I tried making this pair of socks at the same time from 2 different balls of yarn. I used some great 9" HiyaHiya knitting needles for one of them. The tips were a good length and the cable super flexible. For the other sock, I used my standby of 2 circulars.

I've wanted to make this bag for a while. I used some leftover, unlabeled wool. The red and yellow felted great. The orange was a different blend and though it did felt, not as well.

A lone ball of sock yarn will only make one sock. But, it makes a nifty scarf.

A Good Friday family tradition.

18" Doll bunkbed. This was a fun project for an eleven year old and a mom to do together. She wants to paint it, but I'll consider it complete.

I totally LOVE this Cascade brand yarn! It is a perfectly soft and squishy mix of washability and affordability. I'm kind of enjoying making baby blankets right now.

Homemade pizza! Watching the changed and rising dough was fun.

I happened upon this scene. It almost looks like she knows what she's doing.

Baby blanket. I just wanted to knit something in this lovely color. The yarn I chose from the local craft store is an acrylic. Not my favorite, but not too bad. Definitely cheap. I loved the pictures in this pattern. Mine didn't work up so well, but I'm happy with it.

The third flutter sleeve dress. I forgot how fast these are to sew. I miss the time I used to have to make great dresses with more details, but she loves these and they work for now.

This is the second size 4T Flutter sleeve dress. It is a bit wide on her, but she needed more length.

Someone recently grew out of all the dresses I've made her. In my last pregnancy I worked ahead but I only made up to size 3T. She has since grown just a bit so that she needs to wear shorts or leggings under those dresses. It was time for a few new ones, so I went with the flutter sleeve peasant dress pattern. So fast and easy! I cut three out in just a few minutes.

What a great panel fabric! I love these crafty ladies. I modified the pattern. This bag is very simple- no pockets or zips. I find it great to hold my current knitting project. Only one bag with one lady on each side.

Sweater

Recently, I was given many skeins of an ugly yarn. I have wanted to make a sweater for a couple of years now, but haven't had enough yarn to do so. After all the hours of knitting that went into this thing, I don't think the yarn is that bad anymore.  However, I did not measure before I started and just went with the extra-large size thinking it would fit me. I'm not sure if it is good or bad, but it is WAY too big for me. I can't even wear it for the picture. I've had this extra baby weight for the past year and a half- I would have never guessed something would be too big to fit.

I'm just so happy to finally finish a sweater. It really is quite a feat. I'm quite proud.
