I'm going to try to join in a fun sock knitting challenge this year. One pair of socks per month for a year. I wasn't sure I was that motivated, but at the last minute, or at least 5 days before the end of January, I decided to zip through a pair of socks. I really surprised myself.

Our Crafty Katherine has been experimenting with Barbie dress design. Seeing her creations shows me how absurd of a human-like shape these dolls actually have. It leans to her ability to adjust fitting for various shapes which could come in handy if she starts designing larger garments.

I really wanted to make a project bag for my favorite knitting cousin, but my practice bags weren't turning out so great.

I am so happy with how this turned out. All hand stitched with a thicker floss than I normally use.

New curtains for a new home. These only took me thirty minutes per panel and they really made a difference in our bedroom decor.

 Our old furniture is a bit dark for the house we live in right now. A quick distressed look to this end table really brightened the place up a bit.

Watercolors are not often my craft of choice but this fun kit turned out pretty well.
