In quilting ventures, this one is called a 'whole cloth' quilt. Which means to me, there are only 3 parts. The top, bottom and binding. A good place to start if someone has gifted you with this fabric. And, you are learning to quilt. It is backed with chenille and bound with some more handmade binding. This was not as easy as it looked. That is a lot of fabric to shift around and stuff under the arm of a standard sewing machine. This one is larger than the purple/orange one- it almost fits nicely on a single bed.
