Just a small thank you gift for the girls' teachers this year. I just love the little drawstring bags! They are easy to make, and have a ton of uses.

Dragonflies and other cute bugs. This one is from the larger size pattern. They are all happily in the 'unfinished bin', but I figured I could tackle one every now and then.

From a very thoughtful friend! She made this gauze-y/woven wrap. It is very comfortable, and WAY more beautiful than the one we had for Katherine! Thank you Rachel!

My first 'real' quilting project. This is a wall hanging. I am really impressed that it came out at all worthy of being on a wall. All those wonky edges in the binding are not the photography- they really look that way. I have loads of room for improvement on the binding part. These are called log cabin squares and were not so hard to make. I started with hand quilting, then went to machine quilting just for the speed of it. I also could have used different batting to make the hand quilting easier. I will definitely start another, small, fun, quilting project.

Not all of my craft ventures come out photo worthy. Here is a very sad example of a ruined project. The girls worked diligently for over an hour on these clay pieces only to be baked to a crisp. Next time, I will take a photo before I put them in the oven, they were some new techniques that were beautiful before my mishap. I'll blame my error on fuzzy pregnant brain.

Not sure why these are blurry. The plate on the right is cinnamon-sugar pretzels and the left are the plain and salted ones. These are from one Auntie Anne's Pretzel making kit. It was messy, but fun. The sweet ones are good, but the salted ones are awesome! It was like being at the mall! Abigail and Katherine made them with a little help from Dana. I got to watch and eat! Yummmm!

I helped make this. It is a breathtaking sight! If you've never had my great-grandmother's Easter Pizza, you are really missing out on an amazing facet of life. However, making it is very hard work- especially this many of them, it took many people many hours. All the effort pays off with the first taste on Easter morning. Feel free to come by for a piece- but hurry- it goes fast!
