The little birdie seemed like a good idea, but his stuffing shows through. I've just begun a daunting project, so making another, tighter guage bird will have to wait.

You are so good at dying, if you dyed the stuffing to match the bird he would look good. You could even do a complimentary color like green/yellow - give him an exotic look!
