Chalkcloth. A little pocket on the back holds the chalk and the eraser can't be lost. I have a few modifications to make before I feel perfection. But I'm very happy with these!

a gift we don't have to wrap! yea! and I love the portable chalkboard (and the earlier journals) ;)
